Mr. Al-Halabi has over 19 years of experience in the fields of executive management, corporate financial and advisory with focus on restructuring, M&A and valuations. He is the Group Chief Investment Officer of Meraas Holding, a leading UAE based developer where he is responsible for the group's capital markets, investments, funding and finance functions. Abdul wahab is also responsible for the group's strategy. He started his career with KPMG in London working on debt advisory services and restructuring before returning to Dubai as a COO of Dubailand and has been CEO of Dubai Properties Group and other entities in the Dubai Holding portfolio. For two years, he was a partner at KPMG Dubai co-heading the transaction and restructuring unit in the UAE and Oman whilst still being involved with Meraas on an advisory basis. He returned to Meraas full time in 2013. Mr Al Halabi is also on the board of Dubai Parks and Resorts, a DFM listed entity, Emirates REIT, a NASDAQ Dubai listed entity and several other private enterprises related to Meraas. Mr. Al-Halabi holds a degree in Economics from London School of Economics, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
